College VI is a community, full of welcoming and hardworking students. Although there are two different years within the Sixth Form, the common room gives them a chance to come together and build new friendships outside of lessons. Within the lessons, the student-teacher relationship is very open and welcoming, making students more comfortable to ask questions. This makes an extremely collaborative environment between students and staff. Even with larger classes – such as Maths, which is one of the most popular subjects taken overall – many students agree that the learning atmosphere is positive and cooperative.

The large number of facilities available, such as the library, the College VI common room, and the multitude of classrooms and labs available, give students a great space to study and communicate during their free periods or breaks. Many students, including new joiners, hold a positive view on our facilities:  “A good space to come and revise or socialising with friends, because of the large amount of seating and the pool tables – which are really fun to play on when having a break from our learning.” – Coral, Year 12.
