Welcome to Riddlesdown Collegiate – a school with ambition, improvement and people at its heart. We are a very large, successful and popular school with a rich and respected history. At Riddlesdown we are proud of our diverse and inclusive school, and we strive for and achieve high academic standards whilst delivering exceptional pastoral care. Students at Riddlesdown are exceptional young people and we know them as individuals thanks to the “small schools” model enabling them to grow as thinking young people and active citizens who are ready to take positions of responsibility in a happy and successful future.

As the Principal of Riddlesdown Collegiate, I am proud to lead a community that values excellence, creativity, and inclusivity. Riddlesdown Collegiate is a place where all students are encouraged to develop their talents, challenge themselves academically, and grow as individuals. Our dedicated staff are passionate about fostering a love of learning through delivering inspiring lessons and an extensive range of co-curricular opportunities. We are firmly committed to delivering our Trust’s vision of an ‘Exceptional Education for All’.

We believe in a determination to strive for continuous improvement. Trying to be a little better every day leads to strong, ongoing and sustainable improvement. Learning more and knowing more each day leads to knowledgeable and skilled individuals who can make a positive contribution to the community and world beyond.

People

We put people at the centre of all that we do. We talk to each other respectfully and act considerately. We are as passionate about developing our staff as we are about developing our students.
