Isaac T, a year 7 Aquila student, successfully competed in the 3k cross-country in Lloyd Park, coming an astounding second place! Representing Riddlesdown, Isaac competed with around 100 other runners, maintaining his stamina and remarkable endurance throughout the course. Isaac said, “During the last lap I was getting tired, and another runner was sprinting right next to me, and I was getting worried” It was at this moment that Isaac gave it his all and achieved second place.

Isaac also took part in the Riddlesdown football match which also had an outstanding result of 7-2, Isaac managed to score 2 of these goals and assist another one. Isaac commented, “It was hard, but I would do it again”.

Both cross country and football successes have made Riddlesdown and Aquila very proud – Well done Isaac!
