We are incredibly proud to share an update on one of our talented students, Isha, and her outstanding fencing season so far!

Competing in the U14 category, Isha has climbed the national rankings from 26th last year to an incredible 4th in the country! A highlight of the season saw Isha win Bronze in the U14 British Nationals. She is also ranked 34th in the Under 17s. Her season has been packed with major milestones, including representing GBR internationally in Latvia and Finland, and took home a silver medal at Cocks Moors Epee Championship in November.

Some of her extraordinary highlights this season include:

  • Silver Medal at the Cocks Moors Woods Epee Championship in November.
  • Representing GBR in Riga, Latvia, placing 27th out of 50 fencers.
  • Representing GBR in Espoo, Finland, placing 26th out of 58 fencers.
  • Part of the only GBR Women’s Team to compete in the Espoo Team Competition, securing an impressive 5th place against top international teams.
  • Placing 5th in the U14 Southeast Championship, narrowly missing a medal but officially qualifying for the British Nationals this May, where she won Bronze!

We are immensely proud of her work ethic. Balancing overnight travel every other weekend with elite training, Isha has still maintained excellent academic grades and stepped up to play for the Riddlesdown girls’ U13 A team.

Please join us in congratulating Isha on her incredible success.
