Eight of our year 13 and year 12 College VI students had the exciting opportunity to take part in attending the UK Black Business Week, an annual event designed to empower and develop black professionals and entrepreneurs across the UK and Europe. Accompanied by Mr. Nipah and Mrs. Robinson, the students attended the inspiring opening event and later the UK Black Business show Careers Fair at the Excel Centre. Founded and led by Dr. Raphael Sofoluke, this annual event takes place each October and is designed to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders.

Our students, participated in workshops, panel discussions, and a busy careers fair. They represented the school exceptionally well with pride and professionalism, taking detailed notes, engaging thoughtfully with CEOs, Senior Corporate Managers, and business experts, building valuable professional connections. The experience proved both inspiring and enriching, leaving the students feeling motivated, confident, and eager to apply what they had learned to their future studies and careers.
