A blessing of the animals that help us ceremony, took place in the square at St Thomas’s Hospital in London.

The ceremony was a blessing of the animals who serve us. Medical Detection Dogs were invited with their clients and dogs, dogs from the Fire Service, horses from the Police Force, and dogs from Pets as Therapy also attended.

Memorial doves were released to fly back to Essex from Waterloo during the ceremony.

The Charity spoke about how the dogs help their clients and each dog went up to get blessed by Bishop Martin Gainsborough. Each dog was then awarded a certificate.

Jake enjoyed being sprinkled with water and tried to catch it.
