“Thank you very much indeed for the generous food donations from Riddlesdown Collegiate which we collected on Wednesday 11th December.

We are very grateful to everyone who donated and for Riddlesdown’s continued support.

Sadly, we continue to be very busy at the Food Hub and this weekend we passed 375,000 meals for over 40,000 people since we opened in 2013.

After a busy summer, generous food donations like yours have helped us to build up our stocks again in our run-up to Christmas.

It is directly as a result of the wonderful support we receive from local schools like Riddlesdown, as well as from churches, businesses, community organisations and many individuals and families, that – together – we can make a real difference for families facing real hardship at this time.

And it means that we will be here for them for as long as there continues to be a need.
