On Wednesday 8th January, Year 10 Spanish students took part in a Salsa workshop led by the professional Cuban dancer Javier Pereira from ‘Somos Caribe Academy’.

It was lovely to see that they all participated enthusiastically, and they had fun.

Students learned some basic Salsa dance moves, and this was combined with learning and practising some Spanish words about directions and body parts.

It was a pleasure to see that students were able to get a first-hand experience of an aspect of the Hispanic culture beyond the classroom.
